<h3>DAY 01: Arrive in Cairo</h3>
<p>Upon arrival to Cairo International Airport, Silver Sky Travel representative will be waiting for you at the airport holding a sign with your name. He will assist you through visa & immigration formalities, baggage claim & customs. Transfer to your hotel with the remainder of the day at leisure. Overnight in Cairo.</p>
<h3>DAY 02: Flight to Aswan and Abu Simbel Tour</h3>
<p>Morning flight to Aswan and take the connecting flight to Abu Simbel. Visit Abu Simbel: the awesome twin temples of Ramses II and his queen Nefertari with their facades of colossal statues. The sanctuary is built at such an angle to allow the sun to reach into the room and dawn on the statue of the king twice a year — on his birthday and coronation day. Fly back to Aswan and check in at your hotel. Rest of the day at leisure for shopping and walking. Overnight in Aswan. (Breakfast, Lunch)</p>
<h3>DAY 03: Nile Cruise — High Dam, Unfinished Obelisk, Temple of Philae</h3>
<p>After breakfast, transfer to cruise ship. Tour Aswan High Dam — Egypt's contemporary example of building on a monumental scale. Next, proceed to the granite quarries which supplied the ancient Egyptians with most of the hard stone used in pyramids and temples. Continue by motor-boat to the Temple of Philae on the island of Agilka, dedicated to Isis. Sail around Elephantine Island on a felucca. After lunch, sail to Kom Ombo and visit the Ptolemaic Temple of Sobek & Haroeries. Overnight onboard cruise. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)</p>
<h3>DAY 04: Nile Cruise — Kom Ombo, Edfu, Luxor</h3>
<p>After breakfast, visit the Temple of Horus at Edfu — the most perfectly preserved of all the Nile temples — by horse-drawn carriage. Sail to Esna, passing through the Esna Lock, then continue sailing towards Luxor. Overnight on board cruise. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)</p>
<h3>DAY 05: West Bank — Valley of Kings, Hatshepsut Temple, Memnon</h3>
<p>After breakfast, cross to the West Bank of the Nile and visit the Valley of the Kings, where the magnificent tombs of 62 pharaohs have been discovered. Visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut — a beautiful monument that rises from the desert plain in a series of terraces. Stop at the Colossi of Memnon — two 66ft statues of Amenhotep III. (Optional Sound & Light Show at Karnak Temple.) Overnight on board cruise. (Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner)</p>
<h3>DAY 06: Karnak Temple, Luxor Temple, Cairo</h3>
<p>After breakfast, visit Karnak and Luxor Temples. Karnak — called 'the Temple of Temples' — is the largest place of worship ever built. After lunch, visit the graceful Temple of Luxor built by Amenhotep III and Ramses II. Disembarkation and transfer to the airport for your flight to Cairo. (Optional Sound & Light Show at the Pyramids.) Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast, Lunch)</p>
<h3>DAY 07: Pyramids and Sphinx, Egyptian Museum, Khan El-Khalili</h3>
<p>After breakfast, drive to the great Pyramids of Giza — three gigantic pyramids, the Sphinx, the Giza Plateau with royal and private tombs, and the Solar Boat Museum. After lunch, drive to downtown Cairo to visit the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities for an amazing detailed guided tour. In the evening visit Khan El-Khalili Bazaar — an Oriental Bazaar going back to the 10th Century. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast, Lunch)</p>
<h3>DAY 08: Alexandria</h3>
<p>Drive to Alexandria (2.5–3 hours). Visit the Catacombs of Kom ash-Shuqqafa — a Roman burial site showing the merging of Egyptian and Roman art. Continue to Pompey's Pillar — an 82-foot granite column. Visit the Roman Amphitheater — possibly the best-preserved Roman site in Egypt. After lunch, visit the famous Alexandria Library — rebuilt with over 4.2 million books. Overnight in Cairo. (Breakfast, Lunch)</p>
<h3>DAY 09: Departure</h3>
<p>Activities of your choice with the assistance of your guide. Transfer to Cairo International Airport for your onward flight. (Breakfast)</p>
