Luxor Overland Package

Day 1: Arrival to Cairo

Arrival to Cairo airport. Our representative will be waiting for you with the Silver Sky Travel sign, then you will be transferred by an A/C car to your hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 2: Pyramids & Egyptian Museum

After breakfast, start your full day visiting the Egyptian Museum of Antiquities — on display is a rare collection of 5000 years of art, the largest most precious collection of Egyptian art in the world. Over 250,000 genuine artifacts are presented, including an exhibit dedicated to the Tutankhamen collection. Then visit the Great Pyramids — Cheops, Chephren & Mykerinus. Cheops is the most colossal ever built. Next, a close-up look at the Sphinx — a huge funeral complex guarded by the legendary lion body with the face of king Chephren. Transfer to hotel & overnight.

Day 3: Luxor East Bank

Breakfast. Transfer to the domestic airport to take your flight to Luxor. Arrival and check in. Then start your day tour to the east bank of Luxor where you will be accompanied by your private Egyptology guide to visit Karnak Temples — the greatest example of worship in history, dedicated to the God Amon, his wife Mut and their son Khonsu, constructed from the beginning of the Middle Kingdom to the Graeco-Roman Kingdom. Then move to Luxor Temple — built by Amunhotep III in the 18th Dynasty and completed by Ramesses II. Enjoy visiting the Obelisk of Ramses II in front of the 1st Pylon. Back to hotel. Overnight in Luxor.

Day 4: Luxor West Bank

Breakfast. Our guide will pick you up from your hotel to discover the West Bank of Luxor. First, visit the Valley of the Kings, where many kings are buried. The most known tombs are King Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tut-Ankh-Amon, King Ramssess VI, King Mrenptah and Amunhotep II. Then continue to the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut — built by Queen Hatshepsut, daughter of Thutmosis I, who ruled Egypt for about 20 years during the 18th Dynasty (1490–1469 BC), the only pharaonic woman who reigned ancient Egypt. Later you will see the Colossi of Memnon. Transfer to the domestic airport for your flight to Cairo. Arrival & transfer to hotel. Overnight in Cairo.

Day 5: Departure

Breakfast. Transfer to the airport. Our representative will assist you through final departure formalities.
